HOUSTON - High school and grade-school coaches are invited to the Guy V. Lewis Development Facility on Saturday, Oct. 21, to join University of Houston Men’s Basketball Head Coach Kelvin Sampson and his staff at their annual Coaches Clinic.
The clinic begins at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 21, inside the Guy V. Lewis Development Facility, located at 3480 Cullen Blvd., on the UH campus, and will continue until 1 p.m.
Parking will be available in the TDECU Stadium Garage across from Fertitta Center off Holman Street with the first 30 minutes free.
As he leads the Cougars through progression drills, offensive spacing and defensive shell drills, Sampson will speak with coaches in attendance. The clinic ends with a question-and-answer session with Coach Sampson.
Admission is free for high school and grade school coaches. To sign up, coaches can visit uhcougars.com/mbbcoachesclinic and submit a form. All coaches interested in attending are asked to sign up online by Oct. 16.
In 28 seasons as a collegiate head coach, Sampson has compiled 556 wins and led 13 teams to the NCAA Tournament, including the 2002 NCAA Final Four. He was twice honored as the National Coach of the Year and was named a conference Coach of the Year four times by three different leagues.
Season tickets for the University of Houston Men’s Basketball program’s 2017-18 campaign are now on sale through the Houston Athletics Tickets Office. For as low as $100, fans can purchase season tickets to all 15 regular-season games.

Current University of Houston main campus students are admitted FREE to all Men’s Basketball games with valid IDs.
