HOUSTON - As the University of Houston Men's Basketball team continues to prepare for the 2013-14 season in the American Athletic Conference, the program announced several adjustments to its schedule on Wednesday.

The Cougars' non-conference showdown against Texas A&M on Dec. 4 will air on FOX Sports Net. It will be one of 21 televised games for Houston this season. That includes all 18 American Athletic Conference games, starting Dec. 31 against UConn inside Hofheinz Pavilion.

In addition, one game time was announced and another game time was adjusted for television. The Cougars' first American Athletic Conference road contest at USF will tip at 3 p.m. (CT), Jan. 4, in Tampa, Fla.

Also, the Cougars' Jan. 19 game against Rutgers inside Hofheinz Pavilion has been moved up to a noon tip to accommodate television. That game will air on CBS Sports Network.

Men's Basketball fans can purchase season tickets now for an exciting 2013-14 home season inside Hofheinz Pavilion. General Admission tickets start for as low as $195, while the Memorial Hermann Family Fun Plan of two adult and two youth General Admission tickets can be purchased for only $399.

Competing in the new American Athletic Conference for the first time, the Cougars will play 17 home games inside historic Hofheinz Pavilion this season, including games against NCAA Tournament participants Temple, Memphis and defending national champion Louisville.

The season-ticket package also includes both games of the Lone Star Showcase inside Toyota Center on Dec. 21. Houston meets crosstown-rival Rice at 3:30 p.m., Dec. 21 with Texas A&M facing Oklahoma in the nightcap.

Purchasing Houston Men's Basketball season tickets provides admission to both games of this exciting twinbill.

The season opens at 7 p.m., Nov. 5 with an exhibition contest against St. Thomas. The regular season tips off at 7:30 p.m., Nov. 8 against Texas State with both games inside Hofheinz Pavilion.
