UH Men's Basketball Season Tickets On Sale

Sept. 30, 2007

Houston - The University of Houston Athletics Department announced that men's basketball season tickets for the 2007-08 campaign are now on sale. Fans can purchase their tickets in person at the UH Athletics Ticket Office, over the phone (713-GO-COOGS) and online at www.UHCougars.com, the official website for the Houston Cougars.

The Cougars will play 18 home games this season, including home games against perennial powerhouses Kentucky and Arizona, along with eight Conference USA games against preseason nationally-ranked and defending champion Memphis, UTEP, Marshall, Tulsa, SMU, Rice, Southern Miss and UCF.

To ensure the best possible seats in Hofheinz Pavilion, fans can purchase season tickets for as low as $150, a 21-percent savings off the price of single game tickets. On October 1, fans can select their own seat location. UH Faculty and Staff along with members of Houston's "H" Association Letterman's Club can purchase season tickets for as low as $135.

On Oct. 23, fans can purchase a three-game mini-pack featuring the Kentucky game in one pack, the Arizona game in another pack, and the Memphis game in the third pack. Houston opens its season with a home game against Morehead State on November 9. Single game tickets for the Morehead State game go on sale Nov. 6. That game tips off at 8:00 p.m., and is the second game of a doubleheader with the UH women's basketball team playing Texas Southern in the first.

Season ticket holders and Cougar Pride members who have donated $250 and above can purchase single game tickets to the remaining games beginning Nov. 13. The general public can purchase the remaining single game tickets starting Nov. 14.

The Cougars also play another doubleheader on Nov. 24 after the Cougar football team closes out its regular season against Texas Southern earlier in the day.

The Cougars also play non-conference games against Coastal Carolina and former Clemson and Auburn standout coach Cliff Ellis, Middle Tennessee and former Texas A&M head coach Kermit Davis. The Cougars also play host to Toledo of the Mid-America Conference.

For single-game ticket prices and costs for the three-game mini-packs, go to the UHCougars.com website, the official website for UH Athletics, or call the UH Ticket Office at (713) GO-COOGS.
