HOUSTON - University of Houston Athletics fans can enjoy a fun day on the UH campus on Saturday, Oct. 29, with the Cougars’ Football game at TDECU Stadium followed by the Men’s Basketball Red-White Scrimmage inside Hofheinz Pavilion.
Houston Football meets American Athletic Conference rival UCF at 11 a.m., Oct. 29, inside TDECU Stadium. After the football game, fans are invited to visit Hofheinz Pavilion with the Red-White Scrimmage scheduled to tip off at 3 p.m., Oct. 29.
Admission to the Red-White Scrimmage is free, and all fans are invited to attend. Doors on the Holman Street side of Hofheinz Pavilion will open at 2 p.m., Oct. 29, for fans.
Fans will have the opportunity to look at available seating inside Hofheinz Pavilion and purchase 2016-17 Men's Basketball tickets on the Hofheinz Pavilion concourse during the scrimmage.
Courtside seating will not be available for Saturday's scrimmage with all seats in the bowl available on a first-come, first-serve basis.
With the Houston Football game earlier in the day, Houston Basketball fans should note that the Houston Football Gameday Parking plan will be in effect.
All-Conference honorees Damyean Dotson and Galen Robinson Jr., lead the way for the Cougars, while junior guard Rob Gray Jr. enters the 2016-17 season as the American Athletic Conference’s leading returning scorer after averaging 16.0 points per game a year ago.
SEASON TICKETS ON SALE
Season tickets for the University of Houston Men’s Basketball program’s 2016-17 campaign are now on sale through the Houston Athletics Tickets Office.
For as low as $80, fans can purchase season tickets to all 16 regular-season game plus two exhibition contests during the final season inside Hofheinz Pavilion. Reserved 2 seating is available for only $130, while fans can enjoy Reserved 1 seating for $225.
The Cougars open the season on Nov. 5 when they play host in an exhibition game to UNC Pembroke, the alma mater of Head Coach Kelvin Sampson.
Houston opens the regular season at 7 p.m., Nov. 11, when it meets Morgan State inside Hofheinz Pavilion. The Cougars square off in 15 more regular-season home contests with games against 2016 NCAA Tournament participants UConn, Temple, Cincinnati and Tulsa as well as Rhode Island, Harvard and Cornell.

Current University of Houston main campus students are admitted FREE to all Men’s Basketball games with valid IDs.
Main campus students may purchase up to two (2) student guest tickets to each Men’s Basketball game for $5 each, based on availability.

Fans are invited to join the 50-50 Club to support Houston Men’s Basketball. 50-50 Club members help fund program necessities and enhance the experience for our student-athletes.
