FREE Parking Shuttle for Hoops Games

HOUSTON - With only a few days before the exhibition home opener, University of Houston Men's Basketball fans are encouraged to take advantage of the complimentary shuttle from TDECU Stadium to games in 2017-18 at Health & PE Arena on the campus of nearby Texas Southern University.

The H&PE Arena garage will open, and complimentary shuttle service will begin 90 minutes prior to tipoff. Fans can be picked up to ride the shuttle to games in Lot 12A near Gate 3 on the south side of TDECU Stadium.

Following Men's Basketball games, fans will board the shuttle outside H&PE Arena near the intersection of Ennis and Ruth for the return trip to TDECU Stadium. Return service is scheduled to last for one hour following the game.

For regular-season games, cash parking is available for $5 in the H&PE Arena Garage while spaces are open. Fans should enter the H&PE Arena Garage off Blodgett Street.

Construction continues as Hofheinz Pavilion undergoes a $60 million renovation to become the Fertitta Center for the 2018-19 season. The extensive project was made possible by a generous $20 million gift from UH System Board of Regents Chairman Tilman J. Fertitta and his family.

The Cougars open their 2017-18 season with an exhibition game against Angelo State at 3 p.m., Sunday, inside H&PE Arena. From there, Houston faces McNeese at 7 p.m., Friday, Nov. 10, in the regular-season opener for both teams inside H&PE Arena.

Season tickets for 15 regular-season games and Sunday's exhibition against Angelo State inside H&PE Arena on the campus of Texas Southern begin as low as $100. Fans can purchase season tickets online at UHCougars.com/tickets or by calling the Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647).
