Houston Basketball to be Featured on Comcast SportsNet

HOUSTON--- The University of Houston men and women’s basketball programs will be featured on Comcast SportsNet’s college basketball preview show set to air tomorrow at 8 p.m. CT, the network announced Monday.

The 30-minute show will be hosted by local Houston personality Kevin Eschenfelder, as he speaks to members from both programs to get their thoughts on the upcoming season, the new American Athletic Conference, renewed expectations, and more.

Featured in the special will be fourth-year head coach James Dickey, sophomore guard Danuel House, and junior forward TaShawn Thomas.

On the women’s side, fans will hear from head coach Todd Buchanan, who is also in his fourth year at the helm, along with sophomore forward Marche’ Amerson and senior forward Destini Texada.

Both teams open up their respective 2013-14 campaigns this Friday, Nov. 8 in a doubleheader at Hofheinz Pavilion, as the women will take on SEC power Mississippi State at 5:30 p.m. followed by the men, who will go up against Texas State at 8:30 p.m. on ESPN3.
