This season, Blossom leads Morgan State with 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds per game. Blake Bozeman, son of head coach Todd Bozeman, stands second on the team with 8.5 rebounds per game, while Pretlow is tops with 3.5 assists per contest.

LAST TIME OUT
Houston enters this weekend's game on the heels of an impressive 77-74 win at Murray State on Nov. 14. Despite trailing by 11 in the first half and by nine midway through the second half, the Cougars used a 12-2 run late in the game to take the lead for good and win their 10th season opener in the last 11 years.

Junior forward Devonta Pollard highlighted the rally with seven of his team-high 19 points, while freshman forward JC Washington topped the Cougars with nine rebounds in his collegiate debut.

It was the Cougars' first season-opening road win since 2005, and Sampson's 19th season-opening win in his last 20 years.

UP NEXT
Following Saturday's game, the Cougars return to action when they meet No. 25 Harvard at 6 p.m. (CST), Tuesday, inside Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge, Mass.

From there, the Cougars return to the friendly confines of Hofheinz Pavilion to open the month of December with a five-game homestand. That stand begins Dec. 4 against Texas-Pan American and continues against Abilene Christian (Dec. 6), Houston Baptist (Dec. 16), Arkansas-Pine Bluff (Dec. 17) and South Carolina State (Dec. 20).
