Men's Basketball Announces Saturday Parking Plan

Nov. 21, 2014

HOUSTON - Saturday will be a busy day around the University of Houston Athletics Complex, and fans should be aware of the parking plan for the Cougars' Men's Basketball home opener vs. Morgan State.

Fans should note that Houston Football's game time was moved to 11 a.m., Saturday, to avoid the threat of severe weather in the area. Standard Football game day parking will be in effect Saturday from midnight through the end of the football game.

Security staff at the lot entrances will begin accepting Men's Basketball parking passes at 4 p.m., Saturday, but Football parking will remain in effect until the conclusion of the Football game. Fans who have parked for the football game and plan to attend the Men's Basketball game will not be required to relocate their vehicles.

Fans also should be aware that the opening of the Men's Basketball lots does not guarantee immediate space availability in all lots due to the Football game.

Fans who plan to attend only the Men's Basketball game Saturday should be aware of increased traffic on and around campus upon arrival. Fans are asked to plan accordingly for the weather and Football fans leaving the area when traveling to Hofheinz Pavilion for the Men's Basketball game.
