Kelvin Sampson Basketball Camps Information & Registration

HOUSTON - With the holiday season here, the University of Houston Men's Basketball program recently released its 2015 Summer Camps schedule, and parents are invited to sign up their young basketball stars soon.

The Cougars offers a variety of camps throughout the month of June for boys, young men and teams of all ages. Parents can read more about all the camps and register online by visiting http://abcsportscamps.com/kelvinsampsonbasketballcamp"> and following the appropriate links or by clicking here.

All Kelvin Sampson Basketball Camps will be held inside Hofheinz Pavilion on the UH campus near the intersection of Cullen Boulevard and Holman Street (3875 Holman St.)

Morning and afternoon day camps will be held June 8-11 and June 15-18 for boys in grades 2-12. An Elite Camp for basketball players in grades 9-12 will be held June 12.

For Father's Day weekend, all dads will enjoy some time with their basketball-playing sons with a special Father-Son Camp on June 19-20.

The Little Cougars Camp will be held June 22-25 for boys ages 4-7, with a Team Camp for high school and summer teams set for June 26-27.

All camps feature expert daily individual skills instruction and skill work with the Houston Basketball staff and student-athletes. Players will be grouped by ages for instruction and drills with divisions according to playing experience and ability.

Campers will enjoy daily team and individual competitions with individual and team awards recognition at the end of camp. Day campers will receive a reversible jersey, camp certificate and a camper notebook.


Check-in will be held in the main lobby of Hofheinz Pavilion on the first day of camp. Check-in begins 45 minutes prior to the starting time of each camp.

Meals are not provided for our Day Camps, but snacks are available for purchase. At registration, parents/guardians may set up for each child a Camp Bank account that will act as a debit system so campers do not have hold cash at camp. Refunds will be available on the last day of camp.

What to Bring
Campers must wear gym shoes, shorts and a T-shirt. In addition, Campers should not bring personal articles, including basketballs, to camp to ensure that they are not stolen or misplaced. The camp will be not responsible for any lost or stolen articles.

Parents are welcome to attend all camp sessions. Parking will be available in the TDECU Stadium Garage on Holman Street. The first 30 minutes to park inside the Parking Garage are free; after 30 minutes, drivers will be required to pay garage fees to park longer.

Fans have a variety of tickets options to accommodate any budget. Season tickets, group tickets, mini-plans and single-game tickets as well as Continental Tire Las Vegas Classic tickets also are on sale now. To purchase tickets, fans can call 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or visit the Athletics Ticket Office from 10 a.m., to 5:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. To purchase tickets in person, fans can visit the Athletics Ticket Office located on the northeast corner of TDECU Stadium, just outside of Gate 1 off Cullen Boulevard. Parking is available in the TDECU Stadium parking garage with the first 30 minutes free of charge.

All UH main campus students are admitted FREE to regular-season Men's Basketball home games with a valid student ID.

Season ticket packages start for as low as $99 in the Reserved 3 section for 17 regular-season home games inside Hofheinz Pavilion. The Memorial Hermann Family Plan, which includes two adult and two kids' season tickets, can be purchased for only $399 in the Reserved 2 section for the entire regular-season home schedule.

Fans also have a choice of a pair of mini plans when choosing their ticket options. With the Conference Pack, fans can purchase tickets to each of the Cougars' nine American Athletic Conference home games inside Hofheinz Pavilion, starting at only $8 per game in the Reserved 3 section.

Fans can choose the 3-Point Pack and pick any three of the Cougars' 17 regular-season home games with prices starting as low as $9 per game in the Reserved 3 section.

Tickets for groups of 10 or more can be purchased for as low as $9 per ticket in Reserved 3 (Section 101-102, 115-116, 126-128) for 17 regular-season home games inside Hofheinz Pavilion. Groups of 10 or more can buy tickets for only $14 per ticket in the Reserved 2 (Sections 103-104, 109-111, 117-119 and 124-125), while Reserved 3 seats (Section 105-108, 120-123) are available at $19 per ticket.

The ticket cost per person falls even more for groups of 25 or more. Group administrators are encouraged to call or visit the Athletics Ticket Office soon to secure their seats.
