HOUSTON - The University of Houston men's basketball team looks to return to its regular winning ways when it plays host to The Citadel at 7 p.m., Monday, inside Hofheinz Pavilion.

The Cougars enter Monday's game following a tough 70-64 loss to Southeastern Conference power Mississippi State on Saturday in Houston. Overcoming a 9-point deficit early in the second half, the Cougars battled back to take the lead before the Bulldogs scored the final six points to break a deadlock and take the win.

In that game, senior guard Aubrey Coleman, who ranks as the nation's leading scorer with 26.9 points per game, posted a game-high 28 points and added a team-high 12 rebounds for his second double-double of the season and the 16th of his career.

The Houston native also leads the country with 3.5 steals per game and tops the Cougars with 7.6 rebounds per contest.

Senior guard Kelvin Lewis added 18 points with a game-high four 3-pointers, while sophomore point guard Desmond Wade finished with six assists and only one turnover in 33 minutes. It was the fifth straight game that Wade recorded at least six assists.
