The University of Houston Football team dominated the rushing game Thursday night and improved to 2-0 in American Athletic Conference play with a 49-28 victory over SMU. With the victory, the Cougars improved to 5-0 overall in head coach Tom Herman's first season.
Houston Football (4-0, 1-0 American) will welcome in-state rival SMU (1-4, 0-1 American) to TDECU Stadium at 7 p.m. Thursday for its conference home opener. The game is slated to air nationally on ESPN2 and on KPRC 950 AM in Houston.
