The University of Houston has accepted an invitation to play in the BBVA Compass Bowl at historic Legion Field in Birmingham, Ala., on Saturday, Jan. 4, against Vanderbilt. The game will kickoff at at 1 p.m. ET/12 p.m. CT and be carried nationally on ESPN and ESPN Radio.

Bowl bound for the seventh time in nine years, the Houston Football program held its annual banquet, now known as the Ken Baxter Football Banquet, Sunday night and honored 12 individuals throughout the night while celebrating the announcement earlier in the day the Cougars would be headed to the BBVA Compass Bowl on Jan. 4.
Travis Bush has been named the University of Houston's Offensive Coordinator, head coach Tony Levine announced Friday. Currently wrapping up his second year at UH, Bush spent the 2013 season as the program's Co-Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach. Bush will oversee the team's quarterbacks.
