Started the last 40 games of his career and competed in each of the last 53 games... set a school record by competing in the 53rd game of his career during the Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl against Air Force... joined an exclusive group of players in Houston history who competed in four bowl games during their careers.

One of three C-USA award-winning members of the offensive line... one of only 10 players to start all 14 games... joined senior cornerback Brandon Brinkley and senior safety Carson Blackmon as the first players in school history to compete in multiple Conference USA Championship games... member of offensive front that posted 563.4 yards of total offense and 433.7 passing yards to lead the nation in both categories... offense recorded at least 390 yards of total offense in 13 games, at least 500 yards in 11 games and at least 600 yards in five games... helped lead Cougars to season-high 750 yards of total offense against C-USA rival Southern Miss. Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl: Tied the school single-season record with his 14th game in 2009 against the Falcons.

JUNIOR (2008)
Consistent performer who started all 13 games at center and 26 consecutive games dating back to 2007... member of offensive front that piled up more than 41.0 points and 560 yards of total offense per game... helped offense record nine games with more than 500 yards of total offense, six games with more than 600 yards and one 700-yard game against C-USA rival UTEP... opened holes for rushing attack that racked up more than 2,000 yards and 23 touchdowns.

Member of offensive line that compiled more than 500 yards of total offense and more than 34.0 points per game... started all 13 games at center... one of 12 players to start all 13 games... Cougars recorded at least 400 yards of total offense in 11 games and at least 500 yards in seven games... helped lead team to season-high 748 yards of total offense against C-USA rival Rice... made his first career start at Oregon during the season opener.

Reserve offensive lineman who appeared in all but one game... named to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team... valuable member of field goal and PAT units.

Sat out as a redshirt.
