Sat out the season as a redshirt.
SOPHOMORE (2006)
Led Cougars and ranked fifth in C-USA with 93 points scored... third in C-USA in field-goal percentage... named to the All-Conference USA Second Team by the media... picked up honorable mention accolades from the coaches... drilled a 38-yard field goal and connected on all six of his PAT attempts against Tulane during the home opener... named C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week following that performance... booted two field goals, including a long of 35 yards, and drilled all four PAT attempts against Oklahoma State... connected on 38- and 35- yard field goals and added an extra point at Miami (Fla.)... hit all four PAT attempts and was 2-of-2 on field goal attempts, including a career-best 42-yard effort against C-USA rival UTEP... named the C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week for the second time in 2006 following that performance... drilled a 21-yard field goal and connected on six PATs against UCF... saw his streak snapped of 47 consecutive PATs made when his final kick was blocked against the Golden Knights... drilled two 24-yard field goals and connected on all three PAT attempts against Tulsa... nailed a 22-yard field goal and added four PATs at SMU to help the Cougars clinch the C-USA West Division... connected on a career-best three field goals, including the game-winner in overtime, during the regular-season finale at Memphis. AutoZone Liberty Bowl: Was a perfect 4-for-4 on PATs against South Carolina.
FRESHMAN (2005)
Second on the team with 61 points and led the special teams with eight field goals and 37 successful PATs... kicked 36- and 25-yard field goals at UTEP during the C-USA opener... was the first multi-field goal game of his career... connected on a 33-yard field goal and added a pair of PATs against Memphis... booted 24-and 30-yard field goals against Southern Miss... nailed a 29-yard field goal late in the fourth quarter to tie the game against SMU. Fort Worth Bowl: Drilled a 32-yard field goal and converted a PAT against Kansas.
STEPHENVILLE HIGH SCHOOL
Prepped at Stephenville High School for head coach Chad Morris... named First-Team All-District as a senior... was also selected to the All-Area squad... was picked to the Fort Worth Super Team... picked up First-Team Academic All-District honors as well as honorable mention, Academic All-State accolades... picked up the Player-of-the-Game award for his play in the Dave Campbell's Texas Football Classic in San Antonio... also lettered in soccer... named First-Team All-District as a fullback... named Academic All-State.
