Junior (2007): Competed in all 13 games, making him one of only 35 players to accomplish that feat... award-winning member of special teams unit that has recorded 54-of-55 PAT attempts and 13-of-22 field-goal tries... posted two tackles during the home opener against Colorado State. Texas Bowl: Recorded a solo tackle against TCU.

Sophomore (2006): One of 34 players to play in all 14 games, setting the UH single-season record... integral part of special teams unit that connected on 77.8 percent of its field goal attempts and 96.5 percent of its PAT attempts... field-goal unit converted nine of its last 10 field goal attempts, including eight straight at one point.

Freshman (2005): Appeared in all 12 games as the team's long snapper on punts and PAT/field goal attempts... vital part of a special teams unit which converted 12 field goals and 38 PATs.

High School: One of the top long snappers in the nation at Strake Jesuit College Prepatory... also played tight end and defensive end, as well as provided snaps for all punts, field goals and PATs... recorded 32 tackles, including nine for losses, as well as four sacks, 2 fumble recoveries, one forced fumble and one interception... also registered 16 catches for 167 yards and one touchdown.

Personal: Full name is Ronald Norbert Juist... born July 12, 1987... son of David Juist and Annie Fabio of Houston... brother, Luke, was a kicker at Rice... majoring in environmental sciences.
