Houston Football begins spring workouts

Freshman (2011): Sat out the 2011 season as a redshirt and was moved to defensive end during the off-season.

High School: Earned Class A All-State honors ... Four-year varsity starter at linebacker and three-year at running back ... Was named the District Most Valuable Player in 2010 ... Earned First-Team All-Area accolades ... Rushed for 1,867 yards and scored 24 touchdowns as a running back in 2010 while posting 115 tackles, one interception and three sacks on defense ... Garnered District Defensive MVP in 2009 ... Earned Second-Team All-Area and Third-Team All-State honors his junior season ... Recorded 135 tackles, two forced fumbles and two sacks as a junior, while posting 1,087 yards rushing and scoring 15 touchdowns ... High school coach was Mark Stevens ...
