Heads into fall camp as the starter at one of the four wide receiver spots... is one of eight offensive starters returning this fall.
Junior (2008):
Competed in all 12 games with eight starts, including each of the last five games of the regular season... finished with five catches for 84 yards against Southern during the season opener... also blocked a punt and returned a punt against the Jaguars... hauled in a 38-yard touchdown catch early in the third quarter against C-USA rival Tulane during the annual Homecoming game... finished with two catches for 51 yards against the Green Wave... Recorded eight catches for 65 yards in the Cougars' come-from-behind win over C-USA rival UTEP. Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl: Tied for game-high honors with five catches, adding 19 yards
against Air Force.
Redshirt Sophomore (2007):
Appeared in 10 games with a start against Texas Southern... regular contributor on special teams... made his collegiate debut against Colorado State in the Cougars' home opener... made his first catch a memorable one... hauled in a 24-yard touchdown pass from Anthony Alridge to give UH a 17-point lead at halftime against SMU... made his first career start against Texas Southern during the regular-season finale.
Sophomore (2006):
Sat out as a redshirt.
Freshman (2005):
Competed at Texas Lutheran but left after the fall semester... Posted three catches for 120 yards.
High School:
Prepped at Warren High School in San Antonio, Texas... led team to a 7-3 record as a senior... twice named Second-Team All-District... picked up Honorable Mention accolades as a sophomore... was the district champion in the triple jump... named the WHS Track MVP... also played basketball... a member of the English Honor Society.
