Is fully recovered from knee injury that sidelined him the past year-and-a-half... has not seen action since the Oklahoma State game on Sept. 23, 2006... when healthy he is one of the top linemen in Conference USA... regains his right tackle starting spot with a productive spring... strong and agile, is good at both run blocking and pass protecting.
REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2007)
Sat out the entire season while recovering from a knee injury.
Started each of the first four games at left tackle before suffering a season-ending knee injury against Oklahoma State.
One of only nine players to start all 12 games... part of a consistent offensive line which started every game... helped open holes for a 1,000-yard rusher and protected a 3,000-yard passer... part of front which helped the offense record more than 5,000 yards of total offense (1,997 rushing, 3,268 passing).
Played in nine games, including the last eight as a starter at right tackle... was selected to the Conference USA All-Freshman Team... made his collegiate debut off the bench against Army in the Conference USA season opener... made his first collegiate start against No. 4 Miami... helped the UH offense generate 389.7 yards and 20.9 points per game... was big part of UH topping 400 yards of total offense five times during the 2004 season, including a 500-yard effort against Southern Miss (518) and a 600-yard performance against Army (647)... against the Black Knights the Cougars had a season-high 369 yards rushing... graded out over 90 percent in every game.
