    Had no problem making the return to fullback last season after spending the 2002 campaign as a linebacker... battering ram of a runner who has no problem pounding inside the tackles... also is an exceptional receiver and good blocker... was a big reason the Cougar ground game finished 12th in the nation... is listed as the starting fullback heading into fall practice... hardnosed player who is one of the better UH athletes... athletic ability makes him a force on the special teams as well... 2003: Appeared in 13 games with four starts against Rice, UL Lafayette, Memphis and Louisville? ranked fourth on team with two rushing touchdowns? compiled five tackles with four solo stops on special teams? rushed for 31 yards on only two carries in the season-opening win against Rice? recorded 29 rushing yards on three carries and rolled to a 20-yard touchdown run in the third quarter in a win over Mississippi State? also made a reception for five yards against the Bulldogs? gave the Cougars their first points on the team?s opening drive with a one-yard touchdown plunge against Southern Miss in UH?s Homecoming game? finished the day with 18 yards on five carries... despite massive cramping, rushed two times for eight yards in the bowl game versus Hawai?i and blasted holes for Jackie Battle and Anthony Evans to rush for a combined 190 yards and four scores... 2002: Was a regular in the Cougar linebacking corps, appearing in all 12 games... finished the season with 38 tackles, including 17 solo stops... made five tackles for a loss of seven yards... capped the Cougar win against UL-Lafayette with a 32-yard interception return... recorded four tackles with two of those for losses of two yards at UAB... returned a short kickoff 15 yards against the Blazers... made seven tackles with four solo stops against South Florida... posted four tackles with two tackles for a loss of two yards in the season finale against Louisville... 2001: Played in all 11 games as a backup fullback... gained a starting assignment against UAB as a fullback... picked a ton of playing time on the special teams... had five catches for 43 yards as a receiver out of the backfield... longest grab was 11 yards... also had two rushing attempts... had an 18-yard kickoff return...
