C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week (Sept. 22, 2008)
Heads into the fall practice slate listed as the backup to Chaz Rodriguez at one of the four wide receiver spots... also top-notch special teams performer with his ability to block kicks.
Sophomore (2008):
Appeared in all 13 games with starts against Conference USA rivals Marshall and Tulane... blocked a punt and a field goal at Colorado State... named the C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week for his impressive performance against the Rams... blocked a Tulane field-goal attempt late in the first half... hauled in a 31-yard catch against No. 24 Tulsa.
Redshirt Freshman (2007):
Competed in 12 games with a start against Tulane... regular member of special teams... made his collegiate debut at Oregon during the season opener... made his first career start at Conference USA rival Tulane... caught a 2-yard pass against C-USA rival East Carolina.

Sat out as a redshirt.

Member of the Dallas Morning-News State Top-100 list while at Berkner High School in Richardson... listed as No. 92 on the list... earned First-Team All-District honors as a senior after being named Honorable Mention as a junior... received First-Team All-District honors as both a receiver and a kick returner... nominated for the Old Spice Red Zone Player of the Year award... lettered two years in basketball for head coach Rod Wright... averaged 11 points, six rebounds and six blocks per game as a senior... received the Hands Down Leadership Award...
