One of only three players to block a kick on special teams... One of 29 players to compete in all 14 games... made his collegiate debut against Northwestern State during the season opener... set up a touchdown with a blocked punt and finished with an assisted tackle at C-USA rival Tulane... recorded seven tackles, including two solo stops, against C-USA rival Memphis... led all Cougar defenders with nine tackles, including three solo stops and one for a loss of a yard, and broke up a pass against C-USA rival Rice during the regular-season finale. Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl: Tied a Houston single-season record with 14 games played against Air Force.
