Finished as one of only a handful of players in UH history to compete in four bowl games during their careers.

SENIOR (2008)
Regular member of secondary and special teams... competed in all 13 games with starts in each of the first eight contests... recorded six tackles, including three solo stops, against Southern during the season opener... finished with five solo tackles at Oklahoma State... posted a career-high 10 tackles, including nine solo stops, at Colorado State... also forced a fumble and made one tackle for a loss of a yard against the Rams... returned his first career interception 44 yards at No. 23 East Carolina and added four tackles, including three solo stops, ... recorded seven tackles, including three solo stops, and broke up a pass against C-USA rival UAB... finished with six tackles, including five solo stops, and led all players with a pair of pass breakups at C-USA rival SMU... recorded five tackles, including three solo stops, at C-USA rival Marshall.

JUNIOR (2007)
Competed in all but two games with starts in four, including each of the last three... recorded four tackles against Conference USA rival East Carolina... posted two solo tackles with a pass breakup at C-USA foe Tulsa... recorded six solo tackles against C-USA rival Marshall. Texas Bowl: Finished with three tackles, including a pair of solo stops, against TCU.... added a pass breakup against the Horned Frogs.

One of 34 players to play in all 14 games, setting the UH single-season record... posted four tackles, including three solo, against Grambling State... finished with six tackles, including five solo, and added a pass breakup against Oklahoma State... recorded two tackles with a pass breakup at Miami (Fla.). C-USA Championship Game: Posted two tackles and broke up a pass against Southern Miss. AutoZone Liberty Bowl: Broke up a pass against South Carolina.

Appeared in all 12 games as a reserve in the defensive backfield and on special teams. Fort Worth Bowl: Recorded a tackle against Kansas.

Named First-Team All-District as a senior... picked up team MVP honors as well... selected as school's Best Defensive Back... helped lead 2004 squad to a 10-3 record... ran both the 200 and 400 meters, triple jumped and was a member of various relay squads... was a member of the golf team.

Full name is Quinte Rashad Williams... born May 27, 1986, in Bryan, Texas... son of De'Angela and Clarence Wallace of Houston... enjoys playing PS2 and X Box games in his spare time... brother, Darryl Williams, played football at Texas A&M... also recruited by Oklahoma State and Texas A&M... majoring in kinesiology.
