Career: Closed out his career with 81 tackles and 17 tackles for loss with four sacks, five pass breakups and three fumble recoveries ... had 44 career kick returns for 1,121 yards and two touchdowns ... finished his career with eight touchdowns in six different ways ... in addition to his missed field goal return vs. Oklahoma, also had two rushing touchdowns, two kick return touchdowns, a fumble return, an interception return and a blocked field goal return ... in 2015, he was the only player in the nation to score multiple touchdowns in all three phases of the game with two touchdowns each on offense, defense and special teams.
2016: Started the first two games for Houston before missing the next three games due to injury ... returned in a home win over Tulsa (Oct. 15) ... saw action in 10 games, making eight starts ... finished the year with 43 tackles, including four tackles for loss and two sacks, five pass breakups, one interception and one forced fumble ... also added 21 kick returns for 510 yards while pulling in five receptions for 52 yards and four carries for six yards while seeing time as a running back in the Las Vegas Bowl ... had five tackles and two pass breakups at Memphis (Nov. 25) ... tallied five tackles, one sack and tackle for loss in a home win vs. No. 3 Louisville (Nov. 17) ... had six tackles in a home win vs. Tulane (Nov. 12) ... had three tackles, a sack for a loss of 12 yards, a forced fumble and an interception in a home win vs. UCF (Oct. 29) ... had four tackles, a tackle for loss and a pass breakup in a road loss at SMU (Oct. 22) ... had five tackles and a pass breakup vs. the Hurricane … sat out in the team’s road win at Texas State (Sept. 24) due to injury ... had a 56 yard kickoff return and two tackles in a road win at Cincinnati (Sept. 15) … had two tackles and a kickoff return of 55 yards in a win over Lamar (Sept. 10) … led the Cougars with 10 tackles and had one for a loss of three yards, while scoring a touchdown on a 100-yard missed field goal return in a win over No. 3 Oklahoma (Sept. 3).
2015: Made 13 starts in 14 appearances with the first 12 coming at cornerback and two at running back late in the season ...only player in the nation to score multiple touchdowns in all three phases of the game with thwo each on offense, defense and special teams ... led The American and ranked sixth nationally with two kickoff returns for touchdowns ... became just the second player in Houston history with multiple kickoff return touchdowns in a season and a career ... moved to running back with injuries at the position four days before game against Navy and rushed for 111 yards and two touchdowns on 22 carries and two touchdowns ... had 70 yards on 11 carries in the American Championship game against Temple ... moved back to cornerback for the Chick-fil-A Peach Bowl and finished the game with three tackles and a pass breakup ... notched his second kickoff return for a touchdown of the season with a 94-yard return at UConn ... also had six tackles and a PBU vs. Huskies ... returned an interception 51 yards for a touchdown in win over Cincinnati ... returned a fumble he forced 85 yards for a touchdown to open the scoring at UCF ... recorded a fumble recovery, eight tackles and a pass breakup in win over SMU ... became the sixth player in program history to record a 100-yard kickoff return for a touchdown in win at Louisville ... also added eight tackles vs. the Cardinals.
2014: Played in all 13 games during the 2014 season, making eight starts at defensive back and as a special teams contributor ... finished the year with 33 tackles and one forced fumble ... recorded two tackles in Houston’s comeback victory in the Armed Forces Bowl over Pittsburgh ... recorded a season-high five tackles and one forced fumble vs. Tulane ... made his first career start and registered three tackles at BYU.
2013: Played in 12 games as a reserve defensive back and special teams contributor ... returned a blocked field goal 78 yards for a touchdown at UTSA ... was named The American Athletic Conference’s Special Teams Player of the Week following the game ... had a career-best two tackles vs. Southern and SMU ... also broke up a pass against Southern.
High School: Helped lead Calvary Academy to the Louisiana state semifinals as a senior ... rushed for 1,800 yards with 21 touchdowns as a senior while accounting for 500 yards receiving and six more scores ... averaged 33 yards per kick return as a senior.
