2009 Houston Cougars Football Postgame Notes TEAM NOTES ** The Cougars are 127-99-4 (.560) all-time when playing in the month of November. ** The Cougars move to 4-3-1 (.562) all-time when playing on Nov. 21... Houston lost their previous two contest and had finished in a tie... UH last won on Nov. 21, defeating Texas Tech 15-7 in 1981. ** Houston scored 42 points in the first half for their highest first half point total this season... The Cougars scored 41 points in the first half against Northwestern State on Sept. 5, 2009. ** With the Cougars win over Memphis on Nov. 21, Houston set the Conference USA record for consecutive home victories with 14 in a row, dating back to Oct. 13, 2007. AS A RANKED TEAM ** The Cougars are 8-1 (.857) when ranked at No. 13 in the Associated Press poll. ** This marked the 10th week that the Cougars were ranked in the Associated Press poll...
