    TEAM NOTES
    ** With 73 points, the Cougars scored in their 117th consecutive game... The Cougars have not been shut out since a 48-0 loss at Texas on Sept. 23, 2000.

    ** The Cougars are 128-99-4 (.562) all-time when playing in the month of November.

    ** The Cougars are 4-3 (.571) all-time on Nov. 28... The last time Houston played on this date was in 1993, a 37-7 loss to Rice.

    ** With the Cougars win over Rice on Nov. 28, Houston extended its Conference USA record for consecutive home victories with 15 in a row, dating back to Oct. 13, 2007.

    ** The Cougars' 10 regular season wins marked just the fourth time in school history that UH has accomplished recorded at least 10 wins in the regular season. Houston also had 10 wins in 2006 and 1976 but those included a C-USA Championship game win and a bowl victory, respectively.

    ** With Houston's 59 points scored in the first half, the Cougars tied a school record for most points in a half... They also scored 59 points in a 95-21 win over SMU on Oct. 21, 1989.

    ** With 73 points, Houston scored the second most points in a Conference USA game... Tulsa and Rice scored 77 points in two wins to hold the record.

    ** The Cougars are 90-34-3 (.720) all-time when ranked in the Associated Press poll.

    ** The Cougars are 9-1 (.900) when ranked at No. 13 in the Associated Press poll.

    ** This marked the seventh week that the Cougars were ranked in the Associated Press poll... It is the highest total since the 1990 team was ranked for 13 weeks.

    ** The Cougars are 26-10 (.722) in the all-time series against Rice.

    ** The Cougars are 4-1 (.800) in the all-time series against Rice at Robertson.

    HEAD COACH Kevin Sumlin NOTES
    ** Head coach Kevin Sumlin is 1-1 against Rice during his career.

    ** Head coach Kevin Sumlin is 18-7 (.720) during his collegiate career... That is the best start by any Houston football head coach through his first 25 games.

    INDIVIDUAL NOTES
    ** Junior quarterback Case Keenum has thrown a touchdown pass in his last 28 consecutive games, extending his school record... The previous record was 18 consecutive games by Andre Ware from 1988 to 1991.

    ** With two touchdown passes, junior quarterback Case Keenum recorded the 25th multi-touchdown game of his career... It also was the 22st time in the last 25 games that he has thrown for at least two touchdowns.

    ** With 323 passing yards, junior quarterback Case Keenum has thrown for more than 300 yards in 24 games during his career... It also was the 24rd time in the last 26 games that he has reached the milestone... The Cougars are 16-8 (.667) when Keenum reaches 300 yards.

    ** With two touchdown passes, junior quarterback Case Keenum has thrown for at least one touchdown in 28 consecutive games and 36 of 38 games during his career... Keenum's last game without a touchdown pass came against Tulsa on Nov. 10, 2007.

    ** With his 99-yard kickoff return, sophomore wide receiver Tyron Carrier recorded his third kickoff return for a touchdown this season and the fourth of his career.

    ** Sophomore wide receiver Tyron Carrier's 99-yard kickoff return for a touchdown ties as the second longest in school history.

    ** Senior linebacker Brandon Brinkley's 45-yard interception return for a touchdown was the second of his career... His previous was a 35-yard return against UAB on Oct. 9, 2008.

    ** With three touchdowns responsible for, junior quarterback Case Keenum moved into second place in Conference USA history... Keenum now has 116 touchdowns responsible for during his career... Up next in the C-USA records book is Rice's Chase Clement, who accounted for 125 touchdowns from 2005 to 2007.

    ** With 25 completions, junior quarterback Case Keenum moved into second place in Conference USA history... Keenum now has 996 completions during his career... Up next in the C-USA records book is Louisville's Chris Redman, who completed 1,031 passes from 1996 to 1999.
