2017 Season Ticket Prices Announced

Jan. 13, 2017

HOUSTON – With a new era of Houston Football taking off this fall, the Houston Athletics Department has announced its 2017 season ticket prices with 12 different price points starting at only $175 for Houston’s six-game home schedule.

All TDECU Stadium season ticket prices for 2017 include a tax deductible Cougar Pride per Seat Donation. This means all football season ticket holders who are not Cougar Pride members will become Cougar Pride members. For Cougar Pride membership benefits, please click here.

Within the 2017 pricing structure, 52 percent of the stadium’s season tickets will actually drop in comparison to 2016 with 18 percent of the pricing remaining the same. Only 30 percent will experience an increase in season ticket cost.

In addition to the 2017 pricing structure, the department is installing 1,000 new chair back seats as sections 127 and 131 will be converted to match the seating in sections 128-130. With the change, the two sections will decrease in capacity by 44 seats in each section and the department will accommodate each current season ticket holder in the two sections as some season ticket holders may need to be relocated.

Season Ticket holders that are unable to remain in sections 127 or 131 will be placed at the top of the priority list for the seat upgrade process.

Any Cougar Pride member with 2016 season tickets will be given options for the relocation of their seats in TDECU Stadium following the May 1 renewal deadline. Requests for a seat upgrade can be submitted at the time of renewal and will be administered using the Cougar Pride Priority Point System.

Season ticket renewals will be sent to 2016 season ticket holders in early February with May 1 set as the renewal deadline.

In addition to the general public pricing, six sections of Young Alumni pricing are available beginning at only $125 for those University of Houston alums who have graduated within the last five years (2013-17). Young Alumni members also receive a 4x Cougar Pride multiplier and with each Young Alumni ticket including a $25 Cougar Pride donation, Young Alumni season ticket holders will receive a parking pass that Varsity Club level members ($100 annual donation) receive ($25 x 4).
