HOUSTON - The University of Houston Athletics Department will host a three-hour live webcast on UHCougars.com next Wednesday as part of its National Signing Day coverage. The event, produced from Houston's Athletics Alumni Center, will be hosted by Jeremy Branham and feature live interviews with Houston head coach Tony Levine and the UH coaching staff along with highlight videos as national letters of intent are received and approved.

Wednesday also marks national signing day for track and field and soccer as Houston head coaches Leroy Burrell (track and field) and Chris Pfau (soccer) will join the webcast as will Houston Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades.

Houston's Signing Day webcast will be available to those fans who sign up Houston All-Access on UHCougars.com. All-Access provides UH fans with live streaming audio and video of select Houston events with subscriptions available for $9.95 a month or $79.95 a year.

The school's Football Signing Day Central page on UHCougars.com is free of charge and will be activated beginning at 6 a.m. on Feb. 5. The page will provide fans up-to-the-minute coverage, bio information and highlight videos of all UH signees as they are approved by the Houston Athletics Compliance office.

The page will also include a live video shot of the fax machine used to receive National Letters of Intent so fans know when a fax has been received along with a live chat feature giving fans the opportunity to interact with Houston coaches and staff.

Fans are also encouraged to follow and interact with the official Twitter accounts of Houston Athletics (@UHCougarSports), Houston football (@UHCougarFB) and Levine (@CoachTonyLevine) throughout the day as signings are announced.

Twitter conversation related to National Signing Day can be followed using the hashtag #FutureCoogs. Branham will select Twitter questions that include #FutureCoogs to ask the coaching staff throughout the live webcast.

Fans can also submit National Signing Day questions via the department's official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/houstonathletics.
