HOUSTON - The University of Houston Athletics Department will host a three-hour live webcast on UHCougars.com Wednesday as a part of its National Signing Day coverage. The event, produced from Houston's Athletics Alumni Center, will be hosted by Jeremy Branham and feature live interviews with Houston head coach Tony Levine and the UH coaching staff along with highlight videos as national letters of intent are received and approved.
Wednesday also marks national signing day for track and field and soccer as Houston head coaches Leroy Burrell (track and field) and Chris Pfau (soccer) will join the webcast with Branham as well as Houston Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades.
The first-year event will be provided free of the charge to Houston fans as will the website's Signing Day Central page that will be activated beginning at 6 a.m. on Wednesday and will provide fans up-to-the-minute coverage, bio information and highlight videos of all UH signees as they are approved. The page will also include a live video shot of the fax machine used to receive National Letters of Intent so fans know when a fax has been received.
Fans are also encouraged to follow and interact with the official Twitter accounts of Houston Athletics (@UHCougarSports), Houston football (@UHCougarFB) and Levine (@CoachTonyLevine) throughout the day as signings are announced. Twitter conversation related to National Signing Day can be followed using the hashtag #FutureCoogs. Branham will select Twitter questions that include #FutureCoogs to ask the coaching staff throughout the live webcast.

Fans can also submit National Signing Day questions via the department's official Facebook page, www.facebook.com/houstonathletics.
For those fans not on Twitter or Facebook, a live chat feature will be enacted on UHCougars.com giving fans the opportunity to submit questions to Houston coaches and staff.
