HOUSTON, Texas - Fresh off a physical first scrimmage of the year last Saturday, the University of Houston Cougars return to the practice fields today as Week #2 of spring practice begins.

The Cougars are slated to practice Tuesday, Thursday and Friday afternoons, before embarking upon their second scrimmage of the spring campaign, an 11 am affair on the UH Practice Fields on Saturday, April 4. While the practices are closed to the general public, Saturday's scrimmage is open.

Also, the Cougar Football program will be hosting a Coaches' Clinic to be held April 2-4. The Clinic includes both college and high school coaches, including UH offensive coordinator Dana Holgorsen and Cougar defensive coordinator John Skladany. Also, expected to speak are Pearland Dawson High School coach Eric Wells, North Shore HS coach David Aymond, Humble Atascocita HS coach Dean Colbert, Cleveland HS coach Ricky Tullos, Westbury HS coach Keeath McGee, Arlington Bowie HS coach Kenny Perry, Madison HS coach Ray Seals and Fort Bend Hightower HS coach Shane Hallmark.
