    One of the top kickers in Conference USA and the nation... extremely strong leg which routinely booms kickoffs through the end zone... handles both kickoffs and PAT/field goals, and will take a shot at punting in 2004... enters the season with a streak of 66 straight extra-points made... is currently fifth all-time in kick scoring with 166 points... is looking to become just the third kicker (Roman Anderson and Mike Clendenen) to score at least 200 points in his career... currently the school's all-time leader in field-goal percentage at .788 (26-33)...
     
     
    Led the Cougars with 98 points... total is the fourth-best kick scoring performance and sixth-best scoring effort in a season... was perfect on his extra-point attempts (56-56)... made 14-of-19 on field goals... gave the Cougars' an early lead on their first possession of the season against Rice with a career-best 46-yard field goal... added a 44-yard field goal midway through the third quarter... also kicked five extra points against the Owls.... gave the Cougars their only points of the game at No. 5 Michigan with a 42-yard field goal midway through the third quarter... booted six extra points against Mississippi State... booted 21- and 22-yard field goals and added two extra points in front of a nationally-televised audience on ESPN2 at East Carolina... booted a 27-yard field goal to help ice a 45-42 win at Tulane... also connected on six extra points and added a 27-yard punt against the Green Wave... booted a pair of field goals and connected on all seven extra-point attempts against 15th-ranked TCU... blasted a 49-yard field goal and connected on a PAT against Southern Miss... his 49-yard field goal tied for the ninth-longest field goal in school history... connected on a pair of field goals and all four PAT attempts at Army... hit all six PAT attempts and drilled a 43-yard field goal at Louisville... tied a personal single-game best with eight PATs against UAB during the Cougars' bowl-clinching win... named C-USA Special Teams Player-of-the-Week following that performance... connected on all six PATs and booted a pair of field goals against Hawai'i during the Sheraton Hawai'i Bowl... his 35-yard field goal against the Warriors in the second half was the second longest in UH bowl history and his two field goals tied a UH single-game bowl record...
     
     
    Became the first kicker in school history to connect on his first seven field goals of the season... was a perfect 10-of-10 on field goals of 41 yards and shorter and was successful on 12-of-14 field goal attempts overall... drilled 32 of 35 PAT attempts... led C-USA kickers in field goal percentage... finished second on the team with 68 points... booted a 41-yard field goal with three PATs against Rice in the season opener... field goal effort was the longòest by agar kicker in nearly three seasons....nailed 31- and 27-yard field goals against Tulane in the Cougars' home opener...became the first UH kicker in nearly two years to record two field goals in one game...became the first Cougar in nearly four seasons to hit three field goals in a game against ULL... connected on field goals of 44, 37 and 43 yards against the Ragin' Cajuns... honored as the C-USA Special Teams Player-of-the- Week on Sept. 16 after that performance... nailed a 42-yard field goal attempt at No. 3 Texas... drilled a 20-yard field goal at TCU to become the first Cougar kicker in school history to connect on his first eight field goals attempts to open a season... saw streak snapped late in first half against Horned Frogs after 54-yard kick was just wide right...was two-for-two in field goals against East Carolina with efforts from 37 and 41 yards... drilled 41-yard and 26-yard field goals against Louisville in the season finale and added three extra points on the way to being named C-USA Special Teams Player-of-the-Week for the second time...

    Born June 29, 1982, in Beaumont, Texas... son of Billy and Brenda Bell of Houston... also recruited by UAB, New Mexico and Southwestern Oklahoma State... enjoys playing golf in his spare time... father is a local soccer referee... majoring in sports administration.
