HOUSTON - Houston's all-time tackles leader, Marcus McGraw, has been named the program's Associate Director of Football Operations, head coach Tony Levine announced Wednesday.

McGraw earned a Bachelor's Degree of Science in Kinesiology-Sports Administration and a minor in Health Studies from the University of Houston in May of 2012.

Following his collegiate playing career, McGraw served as a Cougar Pride Development Assistant before joining the Arizona Cardinals for the team's 2012 preseason camp. Following his stint with the Cardinals, McGraw was employed as a call center representative by the Houston Texas Fire Fighter Federal Credit Union.

The Arlington, Texas, native finished his UH career with 510 tackles while starting 52 of a school record 54 consecutive games played. McGraw was the team leader in tackles in each of his four years, surpassing 100 tackles every season, including a career-high 156 stops as a sophomore in 2009.

A three-time All-Conference USA honoree, McGraw lettered each of his four seasons with the Houston program from 2008-2011, serving as the team's captain his final three years.  McGraw was also a member of the Houston Athletics Leadership Academy during his playing career.

McGraw fills a position vacated when Tory Teykl was promoted to Director of Football Operations in February. McGraw and his wife, Jennipher, currently reside in Houston.
