Tony Levine Golf Classic set for July 21

    HOUSTON - The 2014 Tony Levine Golf Classic has been set for Monday, July 21, at the Sweetwater Country Club in Sugar Land, Texas. The event, which benefits Houston Football scholarships, is set for a 1:30 p.m. shotgun start with registration and lunch opening at 11 a.m.

    Registration for the event will feature a deli buffet lunch, gift package, driving range access, golf cart, green fee, closest to the pin contests, refreshments on the course, locker room access and a post-tournament awards dinner.

    Participation in the 2014 Tony Levine Golf Classic comes in a variety of forms. Individual entry fees start at $220 and foursomes start at $880. Houston fans can also advertise for their companies and organizations by selecting a number of hole, corporate and title sponsor opportunities.

    The day will begin with registration and lunch at 11:00 a.m. followed by a shotgun start at 1:30 p.m. and will conclude with the post-tournament awards dinner featuring live and silent auctions. Levine will report on the latest news regarding the Houston Football program and give insight on the upcoming season. Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics Mack Rhoades will also share the latest news and happenings regarding Houston Athletics.

    2014 FOOTBALL SEASON TICKETS
    Houston fans can guarantee a place in history by purchasing season tickets for the first ever season in the new Houston Football Stadium. General admission season tickets are currently on sale for only $140 as are Memorial Hermann Family Plan four-pack season tickets for just $299.

    For those interested in purchasing 2014 reserved season tickets, fans may place a $200 season ticket deposit at UHCougars.com that will give access to participate in a 24-hour Select-A-Seat process in May. The $200 deposit is not a fee and will go towards the cost of season tickets. Lower level reserved season tickets begin at just $200.

    Houston opens the 2014 season at 8 p.m., Friday, Aug. 29, when it hosts UTSA in the first ever game in the Houston Football Stadium.
