HOUSTON – Fox Sports Net, in accordance with its conference partner Conference USA, announced it has selected both of Houston’s non-conference games vs. C-USA opponents this fall for television. Houston’s Bayou Bucket Game vs. Rice on Sept. 21 and its Sept. 28 road trip to UTSA will air on the network.
Kickoff times will be announced at a later date.
Houston has played 23 games on Fox Sports Network with an all-time record of 10-13 including a 3-2 mark in 2012.
The Bayou Bucket returns to Reliant Stadium for the second straight season on Sept. 21 as UH looks to capture its third consecutive win in the series. The Cougars lead the overall series vs. the Owls, 28-11, while Houston and UTSA have never met.
With Tuesday’s announcement, four University of Houston games have been officially announced as TV selections as the Oct. 31 game vs. USF will air on ESPN and the Nov. 29 home contest against SMU will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
