    HOUSTON Fox Sports Net, in accordance with its conference partner Conference USA, announced Wednesday a 2 p.m. kickoff for Houston’s Bayou Bucket Game against crosstown foe Rice on Sept. 21.

    The Bayou Bucket returns to Reliant Stadium for the second straight season as UH looks to capture its third consecutive win in the series. The Cougars lead the overall series vs. the Owls, 28-11, including a 35-14 win in 2012.

    Houston has played 23 games on Fox Sports Network with an all-time record of 10-13 including a 3-2 mark in 2012.

    Four University of Houston games have been officially announced as TV selections as the Sept. 28 trip to UTSA will also air on FSN, while the Oct. 31 game vs. USF will air on ESPN. The Nov. 29 home contest against SMU will air on ABC, ESPN or ESPN2.
