The American Sets Kickoff Times for Four Houston Games
HOUSTON- The American Athletic Conference, in conjunction with its network partner ESPN, announced kickoff times Friday for 23 of its conference games this fall, including four University of Houston games.
Houston will open the 2013 season in Reliant Stadium at 7:30 p.m., Friday, Aug. 30, as it takes on Southern in a game aired on ESPN3.com.
The following week Houston will travel to Philadelphia for its first American Athletic Conference game as UH faces Temple in The American Game of the Week game aired on ESPN Regional with kickoff slated for 11 a.m. CDT.
The Cougars will face Memphis in their fifth game of the season at 11 a.m., Oct. 12, from BBVA Compass Stadium in downtown Houston.
Previously announced as airing on ESPN, Houston's Oct. 31 game vs. USF will kick off at Reliant Stadium at 6 p.m.
Houston's Bayou Bucket Game vs. Rice was previously announced as a 2 p.m. kickoff by Conference USA and its TV partner Fox Sports Network.
The 2013 season marks Houston's first in The American Athletic Conference with the league's champion garnering an automatic BCS bid.

Fans can purchase season tickets covering seven games for as low as $150. Families will enjoy the Memorial Hermann Family Plan for only $299. Under the Memorial Hermann Family Plan, fans will receive two adult and two youth General Admission tickets with additional youth tickets costing only $75 each.
