HOUSTON - In addition to specially priced tickets and Young Alumni sections, University of Houston students who have graduated within the last five years are being offered an opportunity to network with other alumni and receive Cougar Pride benefits through the Athletics Department's Young Alumni Program.

Beginning this fall, five Young Alumni will be selected for the final six home games to enjoy the Corbin J. Roberson Experience with a guest. Recent graduates who have purchased 2014 Football season tickets and are current Cougar Pride members are automatically registered and have the chance to receive the following if selected:

• One premium parking pass
• Pregame tour of TDECU Stadium, including the Suite Level, Club Level, Locker Room and other select areas
• Pregame club access and a complimentary meal
• Pregame field pass for warmups, including a performance by the Spirit of Houston Marching Band and the opening kickoff

As part of Cougar Pride's Young Alumni Program, any graduate within the last five years who makes a donation to Cougar Pride will receive four times the benefits and increased Priority Points. For only $25, Young Alumni will enjoy all the perks of a Varsity Club member ($100), including a 2014 Football parking pass, subscription to Cougar Tracks and recognition in the Football game program. Members also receive Cougar Pride Priority Points for donations at four points for every $100 donated.

While many young alumni may not have the resources of long-time donors, the Cougar Pride Young Alumni Program was created to help recent graduates give back to their school and remain involved with Houston Athletics. Young Alumni gifts have a significant impact on the lives of more than 400 Houston student-athletes.

Houston Young alumni are invited to TDECU Stadium for a viewing party for the Cougars' Sept. 11 football game at BYU. Young alumni who participate will enjoy the game from the comforts of the Club Level with the luxury seating, take a behind-the-scenes tour of TDECU Stadium, take part in raffles for UH gear and memorabilia, while season-ticket holders will also receive complimentary happy hour tickets.
