HOUSTON, Texas - Those University of Houston fans hankering for a look at the 2008 Cougars will get a chance tomorrow night at 5:30 pm, when UH takes part in its first scrimmage of the preseason on its home turf of John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium.

The Cougars have practiced for over a week, shuttling back-and-forth between a single practice-a-day to the more grueling two-a-days in preparation for the upcoming season. Houston will begin Tuesday with a light workout in the morning, leading up to the intra-squad challenge later in the day.

The Cougars return eight starters on defense and six on offense from a unit that finished in a tie with the Tulsa for the West Division crown and concluded the year with an 8-5 record.

All Cougars fans and members are the media are encouraged to attend.
