Football Tickets Available for Season Opener on Saturday
Sept. 1, 2009
HOUSTON - With less than a week before the University of Houston football team's season opener, tickets remain available for the Cougars' showdown against Northwestern State. Although the Cougars are enjoying record-breaking season-ticket sales this sales, fans can still purchase good seating for the 2009 season. Excellent reserved season tickets remain available, while 3-game mini plans can be bought for as low as $99. In addition, single-game general admission tickets remain available for all games with the exception of the Texas Tech contest on Sept. 26.
Fans should note that the starting time for Saturday's game recently was changed to 6 p.m., from earlier published schedules. Fans won't want to miss the official kickoff of the Pulse of the Pride campaign on Saturday. Fans can learn how to become the pulse at PulseofthePride.com.
Students are limited to purchasing four student guest tickets per person.
"After talks with the Cougar Card Office and the Student Affairs Office, we are confident that students will have their new Cougar Cards in time for the Texas Tech game," assistant director of athletics for ticket operations Mike Rea said. "This change will help ensure that only current students gain entry through the student gate." |
