HOUSTON - Despite the Labor Day holiday for most people, the Houston Athletics Ticket Office will be open during regular business hours for Monday for those fans who haven't purchased their 2009 Cougar Football season tickets.

Cougar Football season tickets remain a good value through the Texas Tech game on Sept. 26. Season tickets are available for $170 for reserved seats and $195 plus associated donations in the Cougar Pride section.


NEW MINI-PLANS
Ticket office officials also announced that three new mini-plans would be available for fans immediately following the Northwestern State game. These plans include a ticket to the Texas Tech game (Sept. 26) and the Memphis game (Nov. 21) with a choice of the SMU (Oct. 24), Southern Miss (Oct. 31) or Rice (Nov. 28) games.

Fans can purchase these new mini-plans for only $99 for reserved seating and $140 for Cougar Pride seats.

Season tickets and the new mini-plans will be available on line at the of the Northwestern State game.


HOW TO ORDER
Fans can order season tickets by calling 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or visiting the Athletics Ticket Office during regular business hours, Monday through Friday. Fans always can purchase tickets by clicking the "Tickets" link at UHCougars.com.


UP NEXT FOR THE COUGARS
Following Saturday's season opener against Northwestern State, the Cougars face No. 9/11 Oklahoma State at 2:30 p.m., Sept. 12 in Stillwater, Okla.

From there, the team will enjoy its lone bye weekend before returning to Robertson Stadium to play host to Texas Tech at 8:15 p.m., Sept. 26.
