What was your assessment of the Tulane game?
First of all I felt like we really didn't play well as an offense. I felt like the defense did their part, they played well enough for us to win. We really didn't execute as an offense that was the main thing.

What differences did you see in the Tulane game from the Rice game? You seem to play in the shotgun offense more in the Rice game?
I really didn't see a big difference the main thing was just the execution. Basically it was the same football game. They (Tulane) probably had a better secondary, but it didn't make a difference we just didn't execute.

Despite the setback against Tulane are you enjoying your first season of college football?
Oh yeah I'm having a great time. I've experience both sides of the win/lost column so the only thing I can do from here on out is just go out and have fun and try to win more ball games.

We seem to be moving the ball effectively on the ground but had turnovers at the critical part of the game. What was the offensive game plan going into the Tulane and how did that change during the course of the game after the turnovers?
I felt like the game plan was to go in and run the ball down and throw and then open up the pass a little bit. The ball was wet out there and unfortunately we had some costly turnovers, but yes are game plan was to run the ball down the field.

It looks like the Cougars good but mistakes are causing the victories, am I right?
Yes we are doing really good but we are not a team right now that can afford to turn the ball over. I just think by focusing and concentrating harder on protecting the ball and not making costly mistakes. If we don't do those things I think we will be fine.
