Cougar Talk Presented by Capital One to Air at 8 p.m., Wednesday on 950 AM KPRC
Sept. 16, 2008
HOUSTON - University of Houston football head coach Kevin Sumlin will take part in his weekly radio show, beginning at 8 p.m., Wednesday, on 950 AM KPRC Sports Animal. However, due to the lingering effects of Hurricane Ike on the team's travel plans, the weekly show will not take place at Irma's Southwest Grille. Instead, Sumlin will call into the show to speak with the "Voice of the Cougars" Tom Franklin, who will host the show from the radio station's studio. Fans can submit questions via the Ask Coach Sumlin button at UHCougars.com to be read live on the air each week. The Cougars continue their 2008 season when they meet Colorado State at 2:30 p.m. (CT) in Fort Collins, Colo. Fans can hear the game live on 950 AM KPRC with Franklin calling the play-by-play action, Ted Pardee providing color analysis and Chuck Brown handling reports from the sideline. Fans also can follow live stats by clicking the Gametracker link at UHCougars.com.
