Houston-ECU Game Broadcast Available Via Online Video Stream

The University of Houston and CBS College Sports Network have announced that the football game between the Cougars and 23rd-ranked East Carolina on Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT in Greenville will be available live and on-demand around the world via Internet video streaming as part of a special online event. Current annual subscribers to Cougar All-Access will receive the broadcast for FREE as part of their annual package. Those subscribers can just log in with their Cougar All-Access account and begin watching the game. All others can access the live video stream for a one-time payment of $14.95. Please note that monthly subscribers will have to purchase the pay-per-view. As always, monthly and annual subscribers to Cougar All-Access will be able to access live audio coverage of the game as part of their subscriptions. The game also will be broadcast nationally on CBS College Sports Network, which is channel 106 on Comcast cable in the Houston area, as well as channel 613 on DirecTV and channel 152 on Dish Network/Echostar. The online video stream of the broadcast also will be free for current annual subscribers to Pirates All-Access (East Carolina's All-Access product) and to current annual subscribers to XXL - which gives fans additional access to content from schools in the CBS Interactive network across a variety of sports. For more information about XXL, click here. The broadcast will be just one of nearly 100 events to be offered on a pay-per-view basis by CBS College Sports Network this fall. There are at least three pay-per-views involving Houston teams remaining this fall (with the addition of more football pay-per-views possible): the football games against #23 East Carolina (Saturday) and UAB (Oct. 9) and the volleyball match vs. Tulane (Oct. 26). The title matches in the Conference USA Championships for women's soccer and volleyball also will be pay-per-view events, so annual subscribers to Cougar All-Access also would get free access to any of those that feature Houston teams.
