    Charles Sims scampers into the endzone for a 16-yard TD run, sets a career high with three TD runs in the game. Has run for 2 TDs seven times.

    Sims moves into 6th place all-time in rushing touchdowns (23 - tied with Gene Shannon (1949-51), Joffery Reynolds (1999-02) - Paul Gipson 1966-68, 25 touchdowns.

    Sims set new career high with his 24th rush of the game.

    Peace fumbles the punt return and Rice recovers after a scrum. Owls ball on the Houston 21. Rice scores two plays later to end the shutout. Last shutout for Houston 56-0 vs. Georgia State, 2011.

    Trevon Stewart makes a couple of great plays and UH defense forces a three-and-out...Stewart diagnosed the option and took out the pitch man and then broke up the pass on third down. Houston ball on their own 40 after the punt.

    Piland scrambles on third down and throws a strike into the endzone to Larry McDuffey, touchdown Houston. The freshman McDuffey has four catches in his career with two being touchdowns 20+ yards (25, 64 yards).
