Case Keenum AT&T All-America Player of the Week

The University of Houston announced that junior quarterback Case Keenum has been honored as the AT&T All-America Player of the Week. The AT&T award is the only major college football award chosen exclusively by fans. Keenum received 65 percent of the votes with almost 45,000 text messages. This is the fourth individual offensive award Keenum has earned following his performance Saturday against Southern Miss. Keenum also won the Conference USA Offensive Player of the Week, College Football Performance Award Performer of the Week and the Best Damn Poll in the Land Player of the week. Keenum enjoyed a career day by going 44-of-54 for 559 yards and five touchdowns. This marks the fifth highest total in Houston history in a single game. Keenum moved into fifth place in C-USA history in passing yards (10,572) and was promoted to fourth place in touchdown passes following his performance (83). Former Houston quarterback Kevin Kolb holds the passing yards record of 12,964. Fans can register to vote for the AT&T All-America Player of the Week by text messaging (standard messaging charges apply) "VOTE" to 345345. Votes will be counted until 10:59 p.m. CT each Wednesday.
