HOUSTON - Although fans will be enjoying the Thanksgiving holiday later this week, the University of Houston Athletics Ticket Office will be open for business Friday morning, administrators announced Sunday afternoon.

The Athletics Ticket Office, which is located on the first floor of the Athletics/Alumni Center, will be open 8 a.m., to 5 p.m., Monday through Wednesday before closing Thursday in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Ticket Office will reopen at 8 a.m., until 5 p.m., Friday.

The Cougar Football team plays host to crosstown-rival Rice at 7 p.m., Saturday, on John O'Quinn Field at Robertson Stadium. On Saturday, the Athletics Ticket Office will be open from 10 a.m., to 3:30 p.m. The Robertson Stadium ticket windows and Will Call will open at 4:30 p.m.

The Student Gate (Gate 10) at Robertson Stadium will open at 5 p.m., Saturday, with gates opening for the general public at 5:30 p.m.

Great reserved seats remain for the game and start as low as $30. To order tickets, fan can call the Athletics Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS (462-6647) or visit the Athletics Ticket Office during the above hours.
