Space is limited! The first 350 students to pay their $30 and make reservations can go on the trip. First Come, First Served. To reserve your spot, stop by the Athletics Ticket Office located on the first floor of the Athletics/Alumni Center and pay your $30. If you have already left for the holidays, you can call the Ticket Office at 713-GO-COOGS and reserve your spot on the bus with a credit card and a valid student ID number.

Buses will leave promptly at 9 a.m., Dec. 27 and will arrive in Memphis around 9 p.m. Riders must bring their own food for the trip (lunch and dinner). Riders will be dropped off at designated student hotels.
Buses will take riders to downtown Memphis for the Liberty Bowl parade scheduled for 4 p.m., Dec. 28, and bring them back from downtown later that night. On Dec. 29, the buses will depart from hotels at noon to take riders to the pregame tailgate at the Coliseum adjacent to the Liberty Bowl Memorial Stadium. The game begins at 3:30 p.m. The buses will leave for Houston immediately after the game, arriving between 5-6:00 a.m. Detailed itineraries will be distributed when you arrive in Memphis.
Check-in begins at 7:30 a.m., Dec. 27 in parking Lot 12A (entrance off Scott across from Burger King) outside Robertson Stadium. Students must show a current student ID and sign the required student travel form. Students can leave their cars in Lot 12A, next to the UH police department.
Students are responsible for reserving and paying for their own hotel rooms. When students sign up for the trip and pay the $30, they will be given a telephone number and web address of the THS Company to book a room at one of the hotels specifically reserved for UH students through this special program.
The reservations' office will work with students to identify the hotel and room. Students will need lodging for two nights, - Dec. 27 and 28. The cost will be between $80 -$112 a night per room, including tax, with breakfast provided. Up to 4 persons can share a room and share the cost, which could bring the per person cost down to $20 -25 per night, so get with your friends who are also on the bus and make your reservations together.
