HOUSTON - The University of Houston Athletics Department released on Friday renderings of the premium seating options at the Houston Football Stadium, scheduled to open in August of 2014.
The December 20 deadline for stadium commitments of $10,000 or more is quickly approaching. This level of participation affects seat selection rankings which will be finalized at the deadline and released in January of 2014. Supporters of Houston Athletics are encouraged to contact the Cougar Pride office to commit financial support to assist in the construction of the stadium. Please note: All seating and amenities are subject to change as Houston Athletics finalizes stadium components and details.
Stadium pledges are payable over a five-year period from initial payment, but must be signed by Dec. 20, 2013. To donate over $10,000 to the stadium, stadium donation pledges are required to be made in minimum increments of $2,500 to receive additional seating priority. A $10,000+ stadium donation or pledge does not guarantee a specific number of seats or location in the new stadium. The 2014 Priority Process to select a seat(s) is based on each individuals Seat Selection Ranking. A pledge will only improve an individual's priority to select seats.
Once the select-a-seat process for the Houston Football Stadium is completed, all remaining season tickets will be made available to the general public.
Houston will also hold live online Q&A sessions Monday, Dec. 16, through Friday, Dec. 20, on UHCougars.com to answer any questions that may come up from UH fans with Friday's announcement.
South Club Seats
The Houston Football Stadium offers 766 club seats on the south side of the stadium. A minimum $10,000 donation pledge to the stadium fund is required to select up to four club seats. Club seats range from $1,000 to $1,500 per season and includes access to the stadium club.
Houston Football Stadium Club
The Houston Football Stadium includes a 12,400-square foot club on the south side of the stadium that will be available to ticket holders in suites, club seats and south loge boxes. The club will include two bars, hot menu options, multiple high definition televisions and a climate-controlled area with comfortable seating options to relax and entertain guests. Club patrons will also have a unique opportunity to view the Houston Football team as it enters and exits the field along the club's east end. Complimentary food options will be available for those who have access to the club.
The Houston Football Stadium offers 42 loge boxes with each loge box accommodating four ticketed seats per game. A minimum $10,000 pledge to the stadium fund is required to select one loge box. If you would like to select more than one loge box, an additional minimum stadium commitment of $10,000+ is required. Loge box prices range from $4,000 to $10,000 per season. Loge boxes are located above the lower seating bowl (elevated not more than 25 feet above the field) on both the north and south sides of the stadium. This exclusive seating feature provides for a social arrangement of four executive style chairs positioned around a table top and includes a television monitor.
South Side Loge Boxes
Each loge box ticket includes access to the Houston Football Stadium Club. South loge box prices range from $4,000 to $10,000 per season.
North Side Loge Boxes
Each loge box ticket includes access to the Gallery Club (information on Gallery Club to come). South loge box prices range from $4,000 to $7,000 per season.
This seating option will offer a unique game experience for our fans. Located off the main south concourse, two open-air suite decks will bookend the suite level. Both units provide 60 armchair seats under the cover of the stadium. The area also features a generous standing room social area complete with an exclusive cash bar and a complimentary snack station. At just over 35 feet above the playing surface, suite decks offer an inviting game experience. Fans may select these reserved season tickets on an individual basis for a cost of $700 per seat. A minimum $10,000+ stadium commitment is not required to have access to select suite deck seats.
Four open-air party patios are a part of the concourse level in the Houston Football Stadium. Each party patio will include 24 tickets per game with the ability to purchase up to 16 additional standing room only tickets for the patio. Areas for food and beverage catering service are available. Pricing for the party patios is set for $20,000 per season. The additional SRO season tickets can be purchased for $200/ticket. A minimum $10,000+ stadium commitment is not required to have access to select a party patio.
The Houston Football Stadium offers 23 suites for sale with each suite receiving 16 tickets per game with an option of purchasing four additional standing room tickets. Spanning from end zone to end zone on the south side of the stadium each suite is located above club level (35 feet above playing field) with a fantastic view of downtown Houston. A minimum $100,000+ donation pledge to the stadium fund is required to select a stadium suite. Suites prices range from $30,000 to $45,000 per season. The luxury suites will provide an unmatched private seating option with superior upscale beverage service and catering options. Exclusive stadium club entry and elevator access will make entry to the suite level at the new stadium quick and easy. Suite ticket holders will also have access to the Houston Football Stadium Club throughout the game.
Season tickets in the new stadium start at just $140 with lower bowl season tickets beginning at $200. Premium seating season begin at $225 with luxury seating season tickets (club seats, loge boxes, suites) beginning at $1,000.
Sixty-three percent of the stadium will consist of seats that are not tied to Cougar Pride or stadium donations while 37 percent of the stadium will be premium seating. Luxury seating, those premium season tickets that begin at $1,000, consist of just four percent of the stadium.
Earlier this year, Houston Athletics released the seven-point process in which 2013 season-ticket holders would be prioritized for 2014 seating.
Once fans' priority levels are set through the criteria listed above, they will be allowed to request seating based on the following:
1. Minimum of $100,000 stadium donation pledge required to purchase a Suite.
2. Minimum of $10,000 stadium pledge required to purchase one (1) Loge Box, which consists of four seats. Each additional Loge Box purchased will require an additional $10,000 stadium donation pledge.
3. Minimum of $10,000 stadium donation pledge required to purchase up to four (4) seats in the Club. Each additional Club seat purchased will require an additional $2,500 stadium donation pledge.
4. Amenities and pricing for suite decks and party patios are being finalized and will be released at a later date.
