Tickets on Sale Now for Armed Forces Bowl

HOUSTON, Texas - Tickets are now available for the 2008 Bell Helicopter Armed Forces Bowl when the University of Houston football team faces Air Force for the second time this season at Amon G. Carter Stadium at 11 a.m., Dec. 31.
Bowl packages are available for purchase - singles packages for $310 and couples packages for $490. Packages, including bus transportation to and from Fort Worth, leave Houston at 10 a.m., Dec. 30 and will return by 9 p.m., Dec. 31. Also included is one night at the Hilton Fort Worth, game tickets and entrance into the official UH tailgate, which features breakfast, cash bar and a commemorative scarf.
The deadline to register is Dec. 19, and fans can sign up by visiting myCougarConnection.com or by calling 713-743-9550 to reserve their spot.
Students also can purchase packages for $75, which includes transportation to and from Fort Worth. Students will gather for check-in at Robertson Stadium at 8:30 a.m., Dec. 30 in Lot 12. The package includes one night in a local hotel and transportation to and from the parade and pep rally at 6 p.m. Dec. 30.
While the student package does not include game tickets, tickets may be purchased for only $20 with a valid student ID at the UH Athletics Ticket Office. Additional tickets can be purchased for $40. Checks/money orders should be made payable to the University of Houston and received in the office of the Vice President of Student Affairs by 5 p.m., Monday, Dec. 22.
Fans who have everything covered and need a place to celebrate are invited to join the official UH tailgate party on the morning of game day. Deadline to sign up is Dec. 22. Cost is $30 and includes breakfast, access to a cash bar and a commemorative scarf or, for $15, fans can receive access to a cash bar and a commemorative scarf.
