Houston Adds Three Mid-Year Enrollees

    Dec. 18, 2013

HOUSTON - The Houston Football program will add three mid-year enrollees to its roster, head coach Tony Levine announced Wednesday. Offensive lineman Carter Wall, a junior college transfer from Navarro Junior College, will be joined by two freshmen in offensive lineman Emerald Faletuipapai and quarterback Bear Fenimore.

A 6-4, 304-pound offensive lineman from Richmond, Texas, Wall spent the last two seasons at Navarro Junior College after redshirting in 2011 at TCU. During his time at Navarro, Wall helped lead the Bulldogs to a 19-5 record as he played all across the offensive line, including a stint as an emergency center. Wall earned Second Team SWJCFC All-Conference honors in 2013 as he helped lead a team that was fifth nationally in total offense with 477 yards per game.

Fenimore (6-2, 222) was named the Texas Class 5A District 16 first team quarterback this season after leading Westwood High School to the Texas state playoffs by throwing for 3,014 yards and 23 touchdowns. The Austin, Texas, native also rushed for eight touchdowns his senior year. He ranked seventh in Texas Class 5A with his 3,014 yards as he closed out his career with 46 total touchdowns through the air and on the ground and playoff appearances in all three years of high school action.

A member of the 2013 signing class, Faletuipapai has officially enrolled at the University of Houston and will compete as a true freshman in 2014. Faletuipapai, who stands at 6-7 and weighs in at 356 pounds, was named to the California All-Southern Section Second Team his senior season at Junipero Serra High School in Gardena, Calif., as he helped lead his team to the CIF Division II state championship and a 14-2 record. He closed his career with 27 consecutive starts while blocking for three different 1,000-yard rushers.
