The holidays are here and so is Bowl Week as the Cougars prepare to take on Fresno State in Honolulu next week for the Hawai'i Bowl set for Sunday, December 24 at 7:30 p.m. CT on ESPN and KPRC 950 AM.

SATURDAY, DEC. 23
Following the hosptial visit, the Cougars met the rest of the team at Dave & Buster's Honolulu for lunch and games before team meetings and team walk-thru.

FRIDAY, DEC. 22
On Day 3 of Hawai'i Bowl week, the Cougars practiced, visited the local Wet N Wild, met for a team photo and enjoyed the kickoff banquet in preparation for Sunday's 7:30 p.m. CT game on ESPN vs. Fresno State.

TUESDAY, DEC. 19
The #HTownTakeover departed for Honolulu at 8:30 p.m. CT on Tuesday, Dec. 19 to arrive 9 hours later on the island (3 a.m. HST). The Cougars were greeted with a proper Hawaiian welcome as they arrived at their hotel.
THURSDAY, DEC. 14
As part of Bowl preparation, the Cougars took part in the Hawai'i Bowl Gift Suite on campus. Houston student-athletes are able to pick between a variety of gifts.
WEDNESDAY, DEC. 13

SUNDAY, DEC. 3
For only the third time in program history, Houston will travel to the islands of Hawaii as it faces Fresno State in the 2017 Hawai'i Bowl. The Cougars and Bulldogs will square off in the only bowl scheduled for Dec. 24, kicking off at 7:30 p.m. CT at Aloha Stadium in a game that will air on ESPN.
Head Coach Major Applewhite met with the local media following the bowl announcement.
