2001-02 SEASON
Was the only Cougar golfer to compete in all 12 tournaments... Fired a 67 in the final round of the Red River Classic for his season-best score of the year... Remained consistent throughout the U.S. Collegiate Championships, never shooting better than par or worse than 1-over-par, on the way to a seventh-place finish... Was his first top 10 finish of the year... Led the team at the ASU Thunderbird/Savane Invitational with a score of 4-under-par 212 to tie for 25th place... Shot a 69 during the final round of the Conference USA Championships to tie for 19th... Was one of only two Cougar golfers to improve his score each round at the league’s postseason event.
2000-01 SEASON
Young player who made the team’s postseason lineup toward the end of the season…Fired a career-best 73 in the second round of the Perry Maxwell event to finish with a career-best score of 222 at the event… Was also a fixture in the Cougar lineup at the NCAA Central Regional….Tied for 58th place at the Maxwell tournament....Finished second three times on the 2001 collegiate players tour circuit.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended both Bradenton Acedemy and Clear Lake High School... won various first place trophies in golf.

Born Scott Alexander Ferguson on May 13, 1982... parents are Ross and Allison... chose UH because of the strong golf program... was born in Aberdeen, Scotland... major is undecided...has been on the Dean's list the last two semesters.
